¡Hola! ¡Bienvenidos a mi página escolar! Soy la Maestra Chávez-Elizondo y soy la educadora que impartirá las materias de Artes de Lenguaje y Estudios Sociales a su hijo. Este es mi tercer año en la Primaria McMullan y estoy tan contenta de que está oportunidad se me otorgó. Este es mi séptimo año cursando niños de 5° grado. Este año escolar, la Maestra Miriam Rodríguez y yo compartiremos alumnos. La Maestra Rodríguez impartirá las materias de Matemáticas y Ciencias.
Soy nativa de Houston, Texas y de herencia Mexicana a mucha honra. Soy la mayor de cuatro hermanos. Me gradué de la preparatoria Lamar y después de la Universidad de Santo Tomás. En San Antonio, encontre mi media naranja. Me casé con Jorge Elizondo en junio del 2007, en su ciudad natal de McAllen, Texas. Estuvimos rodeados de nuestros amigos y familiares en una ceremonia bella llena de tradición y novedad. Luego de 8 largos años en San Antonio, regrese a mi maravillosa ciudad el verano del 2007. Nos convertimos en padres orgullosos en enero del 2008 y gozamos enteramente a nuestro bebé, Máximo Xerxes al más no poder. El es oficialmente ya todo un jovencito que empezara el segundo grado en el otoño. Ustedes pueden estar de acuerdo, ¡nuestros hijos siempre siguen siendo nuestros bebés!
Estoy emocionada en comenzar mi octavo año como educadora. También estoy agradecida de tener esta oportunidad para realizar mi sueño de poder contribuir con mis ideas en mi comunidad aquí, en el Distrito de Channelview. Mi lema es proyectar cambios en alumnos un grupo de alumnos a la vez. Siempre exijo excelencia y apoyo a mis alumnos en conseguir su completo potencial académico. ¡Espero contar con su ayuda en lograr estas expectativas!

Hello! Welcome to my school web page! I am Mrs. Chávez-Elizondo, I am your child's Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. This is my third year at McMullan Elementary and I am so excited to be given this opportunity. This is my seventh year teaching fifth graders. This school year I am team teaching with Mrs. Miriam Rodríguez. Mrs. Rodríguez will teach Mathematics and Science to our students.
I am a Houston, Texas native of proud Mexican heritage. I am the oldest of four children. I am a Lamar High School graduate and later became a University of St. Thomas graduate. In San Antonio, I found my better half. I married Jorge Elizondo in June 2007 in his hometown of McAllen, Texas surrounded by our friends and family in a wonderful ceremony full of tradition and novelty. After 8 long years away in San Antonio, I returned to my wonderful city in the summer of 2007. We became proud parents in January 2008 and we thoroughly enjoy our boy, Máximo Xerxes to the fullest. He's officially a big kid now, he begins Kindergarten this fall. But as you may agree, our kids are forever our babies!
I am excited to begin my eighth year as an educator. I am also thankful for the opportunity in fulfilling my wish to make a difference and contribute my ideas and help make changes in the Channelview community. My motto is to help make changes in students, one group of students at a time. I always demand excellence and assist my students attain their full academic potential. I hope that I can count on you to help me reach these expectations!
